G14 vs A15

Hi all,

 

I'm looking for a new laptop for work. I was looking at either the new G14/15 or the A15 from Asus.

 

From what we know so far, what would be the better system?

What version are you looking at? There are a lot of different versions of these laptops with varying specs.

Hi mate,

 

Looking at 2060rtx, 1tb, 32gb. G14 or A15, screen size is negligible.

I'd go for the g14 as it has better build quality and just a better screen. That is however completely up to you. Do keep in mind that the rtx2060 can't really do ray tracing and have acceptable framerates so you could save yourself some money and get a 1660ti version laptop as it's only 10% slower but a lot cheaper.

Thanks, I think I'm going to buy one from the US (G14) and import it to Australia. It works out to be $2600 imported with taxes, here I can only get the model with 60hz screen and 512gb storage for $2800. The US version seems to be 120hz and 1tb.

Preferred max weight in kg/lbs and min battery life in hours? Usage?

The G14/15 are better devices overall - they also cost more.
