Rack mounted case with drive failure led

its-me

As per title really,

We all know about rack mounted server's that have the obligatory blinky led's to indicated activity, does anybody know of a case that indicates drive failure by maybe a red led??

I'm not aware of anything that matches your description, but overall, the lack of blinking leds is an indicator something's amiss in the system. More-over, the frequency/pattern leds blink is also an indicator of what exactly is amiss to the troubleshooting sys-admin. Server mainboards usually have a hardware monitoring system (heartbeat) that keeps track of activity and if none is detected within a certain time-frame, it performs action according to BIOS settings: reboot, email the owner, etc.
