Elgato HD60 pro + monitor help

Hayden McLaren

Hey

I'm considering getting a HD60 pro soon with a dual pc setup.

I have one concern with the refresh rates on the monitors, I have 3 144hz 1080p monitors and would like to keep them all at 144hz.

If I were to connect 2 monitors with both DP from the GPU, connect the other monitor with HDMI that leaves me with one HDMI port left to go to the Elgato. Will this cause the monitor using the HDMI to cap at 60hz due to the Elgato having a max refresh rate of 60hz?

If so, is there a work around?

Thanks!

Well for one, is that card gonna support 4 monitors? As that's what it would be. Unless you mean using one hdmi port and using the legato as a passthrough back to the monitor. If so yes it will cap that monitor at 60.

Don't see why you would need them all at 144hz. Should have bought the mk2 card if that is the case.

I just duplicate the display I wonna capture if I don't wonna limit the hz of the monitor.
