Laptop takes 1-2 minutes after boot to connect to the internet

The problem seems that every time I boot my Lenovo Ideapad S340, it takes a few minutes for it to connect to the internet although it connects to the network immediately after boot. I've updated the drivers already and I'm still having this issue.
