Can I build this?

I am going to pairing R7 3700x with a gt 710. I am going to do only programing in this PC with Linux terminal and vim. Not to play a single game at all. Can I pair that. And can a lot of terminal take advantages from multiple CPU cores?

Yeah you can pair that but if I were you I'd use a GT1030 for a smoother experience since the GT710 is literally a steaming pile of shit.
