Ram not running at right speed

Ram is not running at 3000 mhz with emp enabled... it use to be fine 

Nzxt software use to show 3000 now it shows 1500

I think it says that you are at 1500mhz but thanks to dual channel you are at double that so 3000mhz. Which is what you are suppose to get.

I think you are fine but you can double check with CPU-Z using the memory tabs. It should say 1500mhz dual channel. If so, you are fine !

1500Mhz is effective speed but since its Double Data Rate RAM the true speed is 1500 x 2 or 3000Mhz;

Not at all, dual channel increases bus bandwidth, not RAM frequency. A single stick of 3000Mhz RAM will still show an effective speed of 1500Mhz and will still operate just fine at 3000Mhz.

But why did it use to show 3000mhz and my girlfriends pc still shows 3000 and also bios shows 2133

1500mhz is the actual speed the module runs at.

DDR stands for Double Data Rate, meaning it's two bits per cycle thus the effective speed is doubled.

Has nothing to do with dual channel.

1500/3000mhz is when XMP is enabled. Without XMP most modern Intel chips only allow up to 1066/2133.

But why is my bios saying 2133mhz

It all use to say 3000 why all of a sudden is has changed

2133Mhz is actually the JEDEC standard for DDR4 RAM. Its basically the speed it will run at by default if the user doesn't overlock it.

Because all DDR4 RAM is 2133 by default, its rated speed is technically an overclock. Disable XMP and you'll notice that the readout in Windows will change to 1066.
