First new build since 2016, could use secondary advice!

Wydz

Hey y'all, building my first PC since 2016 or something like that, whenever the 6600K came out lol, and decided to go Ryzen this time around.

All I do is bum around on Chrome and play Guild Wars and WoW, and this is what I came up with with some minor help from r/buildapc discord.

(the purchased parts are what I'll be using, the ones with a price are what I plan on buying)

Budget $600-700

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

In which case, all good. $69 is a really good price for a 970 Evo.

I didn't even have a coupon or anything, it just showed up at $69 lol

Everything else looks golden though for a long time?

Definitely, basically the best value for your dollar.

No difference at all between the 3600 and 3600x?

would the Tomahawk be able to plug and play a 4000 series when they come out or do we not know yet?

There are differences but it isn't worth the price increase.

No, it would need a BIOS update like it happened when the Ryzen 3000 CPUs launched.

Not a meaningful difference

No, the BIOS of any B450 board out now is not able to accept 4000 series processors, since they're not on the market. When they're released, there will be a BIOS update to accept them.
