ACER notebook not reading SSD

Hi all !

 

A problem in my laptop.

I have a defective mechanical HDD 120GB. I ordered and have in my hands a SSD 120GB. The problem is that BIOS does not recognize/read the SSD one.

 

Notebook ACER ASPIRE 5630 series

Model No : BL50

 

BIOS Phoenix : V3.50

 

Mechanic HDD (problematic)  : 120GB

Brand new SSD : 120GB

 

I upgraded to latest BIOS for this notebook from V3.50 to V3.60, but still BIOS not reading it.

 

Is there something else I may do?
