Office PC processor

Hi guys, I am currently Planung to build a New Office PC for my father. I want to go AMD but I wasn't sure whether the Athlon 3000g is enough. The only thing he does, is checking Mails, online banking and copying CDs to his Phone.

yes, the 3000g will be enough for that. make sure you include 2 sticks of ram (so 2x4gb) and a ssd for a smooth experience.

to be honest, for checking mails i'd just get a cheap laptop.

The 3000g will be more than ample for an office PC.

 

My Local Dentist recently got 2 new PCs on the reception desk running these with 8GB of RAM and they r extremely happy with the upgrade from the old Pentiums they were running.

He already has a Desktop and uses it, when He could use my Laptop. But his Desktop runs win 7 and a core 2 quad. I will just get a New Motherboard, RAM and CPU. I still have a 500gb ssd left, so that will be plenty. I just wasnt sure about the Athlons Performance

Will push 16GB memory, but 3000G itself is enough. You may be able to find 2200G for only slightly more though

I just noticed that the old case has no USB 3.0 ports, so I need a new one as well. Any suggestions for a cheap case with USB3 and possibly a CD Drive (yeah I know its out of date)
