Memory Speed Issue

So I have a Gigabyte 970A-DS3P an a FX-8300 but no matter what I have done my memory speed is stuck at 667 MHz. The bios is on the version that says it is compadible with my CPU to allow me to fully utilize the memory I have. I have 24 GB of DDR3 memory 2*4 kingston 2*8 corsair

1333Mhz is stock for DDR3 memory, what do you think you should you be getting? What have you tried? What specific memory do you have and what is it rated for?

just got off the phone with gigabyte and they said its due to the fact I have 2 different kits that have different rated speeds
