The extension still works. Any help?

So does the computer work? Sounds to me could be power surge.

Have you tried different power outlet?

With extension cords best to plug extension cord in to power outlet first and then plugin/turn on monitor and psu one at a time.

TLTR:My cpu's plug make a load spark/explosion when I turn it on and our electricity went off.

One day I decide to use our computer after my mom finish her job at home, we have two computer one from her work and our own computer, after her work and after an hour I decided to open our computer, I turn on the extention cord where the cpu and monitor are plugged in, the monitor works fine but when I turn on the cpu I hear a explosion from the extension and and turn off all the electricity in our home and throu my panic I run away from the computer and pull the plug of the extension. We turn off and on the circuit breaker so that the electricity went back on. The extension still works. Any help?
