Please help.

Okay so I wanted to upgrade a old pc. The specs are

I3 2120

(Just now) 8GB 1600hz Ram

The pc is from 2010.

I tried installing an AMD Radeon HD8570 to this and... none of my ports work. When I take it out everything works fine. I tried to look on every forum for this people have the same problem but I cant find answers.

These are little to no specs. Motherboard? Is this like a dell or a self built pc?

This is a dell. I think it's the MIH61R motherboard.

A 8570 should work fine in that system. Do you know that card works?

Got another system to test it in? It should work out of the box.

Vga isn't supposed to work when a gpu is in but usb is. Did you maybe loosen the usb header when plugging in the card?

It's not a header, its connected to the motherboard and works without the gpu in...

Yeah that's called a usb header :p.

The only thing I could think of is that the metal bracket from the gpu was shorting something. So maybe you slotted it in at a slight angle causing issues.

Hmm. I though a header is where you plug it into the board pins. Sounds very probable that I did that on accident. Does that mean I cant use it?

Just reseat the gpu and see if anything changes.

And well the usb header is exactly as you described it.
