Upgrading the SSD on my Acer laptop

deadmoo5e

I was just wondering if a  970 EVO NVMe M.2 SSD 1TB would be compatible with my Acer Aspire V17 Nitro Black Edition laptop.

I tried googling the issue but I'm not entirely certain if I can.

What's the laptop config or full model and serial number. Mostly V17s had Haswell CPUs and no support for NVMe

It should work but I'd suggest checking the service manual online to be certain
