Asus B450-plus hi-res audio?

I was thinking about buying the steel series arctis pro and was wondering if my mother board supported hi-res audio so I could go for the cheaper version without the DAC I have an Asus B450 plus motherboard

hi res audio is justa  sticker htat is put on products done by a certification company. so basically one company pays another company to get the rights to put a sticlker on their product. seeing as you are getting the arctis pro which has it's own dac /amp solution its more based on that rather than your motherboard.

HiRes - do you mean just higher sampling rate than 44100? Don't look at this factor. Overall sound quality, noise level and good stereo separation is what you should looking for (unless you're a bat and can hear sound over 20kHz). And better to buy external (or internal pcie) card that spending money on better integrated sound.
