Buy RTX 2080 ti now or wait till the new generation?

There is no good priced RTX 2080 ti.... its ridiculously overpriced...

 

Is it the fastest GPU (well except the RTX titan)? yes...

 

Is it worth to spend 1500 euro to have about +30 FPS on the already good framerate (70-100 FPS on 1440p) you get with the 450 euro RTX 2070?  definitely NO.

 

 

Nvidia just has the marketing and market advantage and pushes prices for GPUs like 100 dollar bills hang out of trees. 

 

Its a trophy GPU at this pricerange for the rich and for people that are obsessed and/or gullible and dont mind to eat ramen noodles for half a year or so in order to afford it (exactly as some people are obsessed with their cars and will make thousands of dollars mods to make their honda civic run a little faster and sound louder) or children who can manipulate their parents (or secretly use their credit cards) to buy such GPUs...
