2070s vs 2080

The Torrent

2070s is newer - so does it have any newer hardware such as some sort of ability to support dlss 3.0 when it comes out which the 2080 doesn't?

edit:

would you buy a used GAMING X TRIO 2080 for 550, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER GAMING OC 3X  for 500 or a 3rd option? (GBP)

thanks

The 2070S is basically just a slightly toned down 2080 (both are based on the TU104 chip). The Super won't support a technology that the non-Super cards won't be able to.

no I would not because they are used. you do not know the reason why the person is selling the GPU. a 2080 is about as good as you are going to get in performance other then going with the NVidia titan or Quadro so there is some reason behind them selling them that I would not take a chance on if I was buying them. for the same price as them, you can get a brand new 2060, 2060S, 2070 or 2070S which have just about the same performance.
