R.I.P. MSI P67A-C43 (B3)

Today, my long lived MSI board has apparently slid quietly into the other side... It simply powered off suddenly, and now refuses to wake up for anything.

 

It's lived a good long life, daily usage with a 2500K (4.45 GHz), then a 3770K (4.5 GHz) for the last two years. It even had the honour of helping combat COVID-19 the past few weeks.

 

Press F to pay respects. Here's hoping the 3770K survived this ordeal.

Ehh my P67A-GD53 died after 1 year then went with a EVGA Z68 SLi board, a very long time ago though.

So I just bought an Asus Prime X570-P to replace it, and will be running an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 for the time being.

Any tips or tricks with this board? It should have a good enough VRM to last me a few upgrades.
