Broken monitor?

Hi, a few months ago black horozontal lines appeared on my monitor. I assumed it wasn't repairable and started looking for a new monitor, but they then disappeared before I got round to buying one and it has been fine since (until a few days ago). The lines have now returned and I was wondering whether there was anything that might help? I've tried different outputs / cables / monitors etc so I know the problem is specifically with the monitor.

Try hitting your monitor.
