Installed ram and available ram

If a games recommended memory is 8gb and i have an 2 4gbs and the system uses 2.5gb, the available memory is 5.5 so if a games recommended memory is 8gb but i only have 5.5gb will it still run smoothly?

I mean rust is a game i want to play but i mean if a game mini is 8gb, is that meaning available memory for the game or does it just mean 8gb of ram?

Generally it means for the system as a whole,  but the caveat is that some developers don't make allowances and some games just shit and suck up 100% of that minimum spec causing everything to fail.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

Oh, so usually if a game says 8gb memory for mini, it is acknowledging the fact that the system memory takes a couple gigs?

Yes. Though since it's minimum, expect issues if you have more than few software running in background. So running Discord and Chrome while gaming might be too much, and cause stutters.
