Better build for gaming. rtx 2080 super is much better than rtx 2070 super. instead r9 3900x, the ryzen 7 3700x. It is 1-5% worse in games, but ist cheaper.

You do not need that high end motherboard, the x570-E and 32gigs of ram will do it.

it works like that yes, but when you have built the pc, you have to fresh install the windows

Ask me anything :)

You should definitely install Windows on your SSD. Also I think you are missing ram in your parts list. Remember to get a dual channel kit as this is very important for ryzen.

for gaming i would have gone with r5 3600 or r7 3700 and 2080 super.

850w are needed for dual gpu systems only. yours will be fine with 550w

samsung ssds are overpriced

install windows, software and the most commonly played games on ssd, make sure to always keep 20% of it empty, otherwise it slows down. other games and media files on hdd.

the motherboard is ok, although probably too expensive

Definitely install windows on the SSD. Boot times are waaay faster. Seagate hybrid drives are great for your second and third drives. Use these to install most games/movies. Use ssd for frequent programs like firefox/chrome and a few games with long loading times like gta 5. Hybrid drives are great balance of speed/price. THey are close to the speed of ssd in loading time in game/not as fast for loading windows though. I recommend the seagate firecuda 2tb hdd. Good system and have fun with ur first build dude

Yes, meaning two identical sticks of memory. Inserted into slots 1 and 3 on the motherboard for dual-channel operation.
