Swaping/Upgrading GPU and Getting No Signal

Need help. I have this system and plan to upgrade it along the way :

i5 6500 (Stock)
Asus GTX 970 Strix (Stock)

Asus z170 Sabertooth Mark 1 (BIOS ver 1801, i think)
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2133 16 GB dual channel
HDD 1 TB (Windows 10 64 bit)
EVGA 750GQ Gold+
LG 24mk600m

So i just bought used MSI GTX 1070 ti Gaming X, i run DDU to uninstall my old driver, i plug it in but i got no signal, i triple check all the cables its correctly in places, the LED turn on and the Fan are spinning. I even swap back my old GPU it worked. I dunno what to do, help me please. Thanks

Try to connect monitor straight to the mobo, it should post with igpu, in windows check if card is recognised in device manager. 

   @Whiro tag or quote will do the trick
