Sending files locally w/ uTorrent

Guest

Does anyone know if it's possible to send files across your home network with uTorrent? I can easily send files to someone out of my network using port forwarding and having my PC as the tracker, but even adding localhost or my internal ip as a tracker isn't working locally. :c

There used to be an application called bittorrent sync that sounds like what your after. apparently its called Resilio Sync these days

Edit: it used to be free but looks like its payed now

SMB file share is probably the easiest way to go though if you want a free solution NFS might be a bit faster but i dont have much experience with it so cant really comment on that.

Resilio Sync is still mostly free. Only advanced settings need paying. I've been using it for few years now to move media files between main PC and laptop/tablet/phone.
