Help: Windows 10 ISO and MOBO Flash

Tgunz019

Hey all... While on COVID-19 lockdown I decided to build my first gaming PC. I have been a traditional Xbox gamer but wanted to move away from the Xbox explore the PC Gaming world.

Running into a problem with loading Windows 10... DRIVERS.

1. I create the USB ISO on my MacBook and can get the USB ISO to boot

2. Won't instal because there are no drivers

I'm wondering if I need to flash my Tomahawk B450 MAX to get this PC working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should not need any specific drivers. Need more info.

I plug the windows 10 USB ISO in and boot up, smash F11, and can select the USB drive. Then Windows 10 installer loads - I select the language and hit next but after than point the installer says there aren't any drivers and I can't continue the installation.

I'll get a picture and post here when I can break away from the WFH desk in a few.

Do you see your storage drive in BIOS? Sounds like it's either not seeing the drive or the storage controller.

Maybe the install ISO is corrupt? It is a good idea to re download and burn the ISO to the thumb drive again.

I see the storage and I am re-burning the ISO now.

Any drives, not drivers.

So yeah, check your drive is correctly detected in BIOS. And say what you have as drives.

Your controller is in RAID mode.

Either switch it to AHCI or put the RAID drivers on a USB key: https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/amd-socket-am4/b450

Pic 1 - Terminal Code used to create USB ISO

Pic 2 - Windows 10 installer "A media driver your computer needs is missing. THis could be a DVD, USB, or Hard Disk driver. If you have a CD, DVD, or USB flash drive with the driver on it, please insert it now. Note: If the installation media for Windows is in the DVD drive or on a USB drive, you can safely remove it for this step."

No, I used bootcamp earlier and the ISO would not load on the system. I found this alternative way to create the ISO on youtube

Another way to go about this - although somewhat time consuming - is to install Windows on the Mac, boot into Windows and create the ISO within Windows. I did that recently at a friends house who did not have a PC around.

Try the Ryzen RAID drivers then.
