Hi guys, I'm planning to build a desktop, but I'm quite stuck at the PSU. I'm planning to choose a 850W psu. The PSU i chose ATX version: ATX12V, but the case PSU support is ATX, are they compatible? Thank you

"ATX" is the first and older standard with a 20-pin motherboard connector

So if i choose a ATX12V PSU for my case which only supports ATX12V power supply support, it will still fit in perfectly?

Where you found ATX12 PSU ? They're not commercially available yet (and no, Seasonic Connect is not ATX12V). No idea what's available for you in Singapore, give some links to online stores. Or look at the tier list pinned in this forum section and choose yourself smth from tier A and up.

"ATX" is a form factor standard. "ATX12V" is an electrical standard. They're two different things. If the PSU you chose has an ATX form factor, it will fit your case, which supports ATX form factor power supplies.

Also, don't you think it would be much easier to get answers if you simply told us what case and PSU you chose?

He's talking about ATX12V, not the 12V-only ATX12VO.

It's top secret.

Honestly, I don't know why people do this either.  This thread could have been over in three posts.
