Different Corsair RM750x's?

I'm a bit confused, is there 2 versions of the corsair rm750x? I thought there's only one? I have 2 of them, one is shorter than the other, so I'm wondering what the difference is? Here's a picture of what I mean:

The larger one is the 'older' unit, the shorter one the newer unit.

2015 vs. 2018 design units.

 

Functionally and quality-wise they are on the same level. I think the newer RM750X comes with two 4+4 pin EPS cables.. i think that was a thing.

EDIT: looks like that one vs. two EPS cable thing is true.
