Is the HD 7970 worth it in 2020?

Given how the minimum requirements for Call of Duty Warzone calls for a Radeon HD 7950, the HD 7970 (AKA R9-280X) is not going to be TOO much better.

** Just using the suggested minimum requirements for reference **

About $70 USD, it's okay.

Of course, it's significantly better than a GTX 750 that's for sure.

I have a pretty weak pc with a gtx 750 and I wanted to upgrade it so I can play Call of Duty Warzone, I was looking for cheap used gpu's and the Asus HD 7970 Direct CU II caught my eye. Is it worth buying it?

If so, then the HD 7970 is probably a good choice.

This video seems to come in handy for performance figures. Looks like it's a tiny bit better than a GTX 1050 TI, quite a nice upgrade from that GTX 750. It's pretty power hungry, though.

How does the gtx 780 compare to the hd 7970? I've found one for the same price and its pretty close to me.

Overall, GTX 780 is about 30% ~ 35% faster in games.

Radeon HD 7970 / 7970 GHz Edition / R9-280X is at the same level, or slight better, than the GTX 770.

GTX 780 is a step up from that.
