What cooler do I need?

Go to solution Solved by Meganter,

Hello,

Noctua NH D15 :)

So, I have recently overclocked my AMD FX-8320 from 3.50GHz to 4.1GHz. I noticed that the cooler is always on full speed and gets really warm. I have an AM3+ socket, I use a really basic Cooler Master cooler

Can someone reccomend me a good AM3+ cooler?

Thanks

Upgrade your system. No point spending more on that antique.

a cooler will move over to a new system and if it is an air it will last decades.
