HELP! SSD not showing up in Windows?!

I just installed a 1TB SSD in my PC, and for whatever reason it won't show in windows. The recommended fix is to go through disk management and to create a "New Simple Volume" etc. etc. on any unallocated storage (highlighted in black), however in my case this doesn't work (my drive is highlighted as blue, meaning primary partition?).

 

 

Being that my drive shows differently than seen in any of the YouTube tutorials that I could find, I need a different way to fix this as the others don't work. As you can see below, my 1TB SSD does not show in my files. Where do I go from here?

if it's an nvme ssd in some cases you'll have to enable that in the bios. I'd also suggest looking at the bios and seeing if the drive is showing up there

The drive shows up in BIOS, but it's a SATA SSD

I've had experiences where the drive is in disk management, there's just blank text instead of ex. disk 0 partition 8.

Trying scrolling to the very top or very bottom and look for a space that's there but has no text at all, that could likely be it.

All of the ones I can see listed have names

It's the one that shows as "Disc 0 Partition 13" in the picture above

not sure why there's so many partitions there, I'd honestly delete them to save space. I'd imagine you should be able to just right click on the partition that says 885gb and make a new simple volume

It is greyed out and won't let me click on it

this is what my disk management screen looks like,

I have 5 drives in my system, a 256gb nvme ssd, my previous main ssd which was a typical m.2 500gb ssd, a 1tb sata ssd, and then a 4tb hdd, and an old 2tb hybrid drive I use for backups. Me personally I try to leave around 10% of the space on SSDs unallocated to increase the longevity of the drive. On anyone of these that's shown in blue it should be possible to right-click on and do new simple volume

I can on all of the other ones, but it's greyed out and unclickable on Disk 0 (my ssd)

only thing I can suggest since I'm obviously not there to look more closely at it is to try using this one software, Aomei partition assistant to set it up, it might work better.
