Recommended Posts

Hello, i've got one question, because i'm a newbie in PC building: if i gonna upgrade my CPU from I5-7400 to I7-7700, will it require a BIOS update?

My motherboard model is: m32cd4-k

Keeping your BIOS updated is always recommended, although in your case it shouldn't matter. If your system runs with the i5, it'll be fine with the i7

75% of what I say is sarcastic

I think it should be ok even without a BOIS update, although i'd update the BIOS anyways, it's always good practice, as you say.

Check the official manual. It's an OEM board so you never know what they did with it
