RTX 2080 super discussion

what are the differences besides a higher clock speed?

Is it worth buying the ultra over the regular?

Can't I just overclock the regular to match the 1845Mhz of the ultra?

The Ultra has thicker heatsink than the standard XC I think

The ultra has better cooler and Inductors,but I don't think that regular is much worse,I'm using Colorful RTX2080 SUPER Advanced OC,it can run at 1965MHz default,but RTX series has GPU Boost 4.0,the clock is base on the power limit and GPU temperature, in other words the cooler your GPU is,the higher clock your GPU run

But it also based on the VBIOS,if you buy a cheap RTX2080 SUPER you can flash a ROG BIOS on it.Under the premise of the cooler and power limited

you can still OC manually, but the card itself is objectively worse.
