What kind of work do you mean exactly? E-mail, web surfing, 3D modeling, ...?

For 20k pesos, you might be able to put together a decent Athlon 3000G system.

Athlon 3000G

Cheapest B450 MAX motherboard available

2x8GB DDR4, 2666 or higher

Check out out PSU tier list to compare models that are available to you

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Something like this is probably the best sort of PC you can build for this purposes for (around) 400 USD:

In my opinion, an SSD, but also HDD is a must to have (unless you have a NAS at your disposal). As you will want the speed, but also space to save your files.

16GB is also a must, as digital art files - especially the larger one - will need such room.

If it is at all possible though, I would suggest saving up just a bit more. While the build mentioned above is alright, it does lack proper room to expand and especially the CPU is a part which could be much better, if you just have like 50 USD to spend more.

So perhaps a second hand computer might be a better deal. Not sure what the market in the Philippines is like, but perhaps you could look into purchasing a second-hand computer from someone and maybe upgrading the RAM or something?

Where I live, I see Ryzen 5 1600 + GTX 1060 builds for 500 euros. Just add some more RAM (for about 40 euros) and you have a competent build.

Corel Draw is mentioned in the original post, which is a digital drawing program.

But it would be helpful to know OP's scope of these project (e.g. resolution).

I mean, I would go for the used market. Maybe if you will give us some links for Filipino sites with used goods, we could help you out better.
