Ryzen 2600x temps too high

Hoaxyy

Hello, this issue started popping up out of nowhere but my pc which I built about a year ago would shut down due to the cpu overheating. I managed to underclock my cpu to at least get it to start. But before I underclocked my cpu would start off at around 70c then go up to 100c or more then shut off. Now I sit at around 55-68c just watching youtube or having discord open. I tried to remove and re-apply my old thermal paste, made sure my cooler(nzxt kraken m22) was sitting properly which it is and it is working. Made sure there was decent airflow in the case and all that.

If I try to run a game like Overwatch for example it will start off at around 70c then within 10 minutes of the game running a deathmatch it will be at around 92-98c and I will quit the game. I'm not sure what to do anymore but that's where I'm at. Below I attatched some screenshots of the current ryzen master screenshots with me running the cpu at 3000GHz. And some screenshots from HWmonitor

I'm at currently using bios update 2.8? Not fully sure how they work sadly , windows update is the latest

The cooler is probably not mounted correctly or there is too much/too little thermal paste.
