i'm getting lower FPS than i should with my specs

feelinghigh

Browser, version and OS:

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

What happened?

My pc spec is:

Intel i7 7700
EVGA GTX 1070 SC
2x8 GB RAM 2400MHz (my Motherboard can only handle 2133 MHz)
msi h110m pro-vd motherboard
240GB SSD
1TB HDD
FSP hyper 700W PSU

With these specs i should get way more fps than i Usually get, and the weird thing is if i put my settings in high ill get the same fps as if it was low in all games.

On MW I get from 60 to 90 fps no matter what the settings is.
My fps on LoL and overwatch doesn’t get more than 120 fps in high settings and low settings. I try to get 144 FPS in all games because my monitor is 144Hz.
I tested on LoL,heroes of the storm, MW and overwatch. and i have normal temps

here is my benchmark

https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/25961654

What did you expect to happen?

If it's a cloudflare error, what was the ray ID from the bottom of the error page?

is vsync or frame cap on? or maybe it could be that your monitor's refresh rate is lowered in nvidia control panel, but that shouldn't affect that

userserbenchmark doesn't matter. it is a lie

some of these older games you should be doing better but MW likes cores.

raise your settings I believe you are cpu bound in some of these games.

i dont rely on userbenchmark but i cant get over 120 fps in every game even on LoL or OW on these games i should easily get over 200 fps, the weird thing is if put the settings on low i still get the same frames as if i it was on full its not only on those games this happens in all the games i have i just cant accross 120 if i do it goes above it for a bit and then returns to 120ish

🤔 So what does all of your utilization stats say while gaming, for your processes, storage device, etc? There also might be something running in the background as well.

Well, if you are using some kind of performance monitoring software like MSI Afterburner, it will tell you what the usage rate is for your CPU, GPU and RAM. For the storage device, your task manager window will tell you whats going on there.

i just diagnosed my CPU, GPU and ram

my CPU didnt get any error during the stress test and its temperature didnt exceed 70C

my GPU avg FPS was 93 FPS with a score of 2348 and its temperature didnt exceed 80C and eas 98% usage the whole time

for my rams it was working perfectly fine according to windows memory diagnostic.

so can it be the motherboard who is causing my problems?
