I'm trying to build a computer for my dad exclusively for work with AutoCAD and Autodesk.  How would you guys tweak this build for better performance? Thanks!  (My dad won't be gaming or overclocking at all btw)

Looks good! Might even be able to play a few games on the side.

Keep in mind that the A320 motherboards might not all support Ryzen 3000 CPUs out of the box especially if they're still on older BIOS versions. So you'll need either a 1000-series or APU/Athlon to perform the BIOS update before upgrading to the 3000-series CPU.

Could I use my ryzen 5 1600 to update it?

I would recommend a Ryzen 7 2700X + B450 motherboard. But r7 2700X’s are sold out everywhere. 8 cores could really help.

You should be able to.

At that budget I'd probably recommend spending a few more bucks for a cheap B450 board though. Besides overclocking support, they're just higher quality and more reliable, and offer basic features like proper numbers of fan headers and RAM upgradeability you won't find on A320.

Yes.  Absolutely.
