Mic mount problems

So, I have a Samson G-Track pro microphone, and I recently bought the SP04 shock mount and mba38 mic arm. I thought things were going to go well, but then I realized after putting the mic on the shock mount that they wouldn't attach properly to the arm, so I have quite the dilemma.

 

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you fix it? (adapter, modding the stuff, buying new arm and mount altogether?)

Edit: I found a link on Walmart.com that shows everything I have working perfectly fine together, but mine literally will not fit.
