pc worth

im looking to sell my pc and im trying to get some fellow gamers to tell me the worth of how much they would pay if they would be buying this. i calculated all the components and it all added up to 1010 usd. im not sure if thats correct, so ill put the specs here and a link  to everything if i can because some things were hard to find them. thanks :)

processor: Intel i5-2400 3.10ghz

motherboard: Biostar TP67B+ (ver 6.2)

HDD : Seagate Barracuda 1TB  (7200 RPM)

GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050 D5 3GB

ram: G-Skill Sniper Series 8gb (2x4) 1866mhz Dual channel

Power Supply: OCZ ModxStream Pro

case: Antec case of some kind, 3 drive bays, a couple fans i cant find it anywhere online
does include a CD drive

You could probably get $300 USD out of it, not much more, I don't think.

If you're using pcpartpicker, or a vendor like Amazon, for pricing, most of your components will either have no pricing data or pricing data that's heavily altered by the fact that your parts aren't in stock. Your i5, for example, might be listed for over $300 new, but that's because it's obsolete and the stock doesn't exist for it. 

 

List your PC on Letgo for $350 and see what you can get. I'd accept as low as $275 for people haggling you down.

 

And by the way, a pcpartpicker list is a much better way to share party price info than a .txt file

Personally I don't see a value in second hand storage, there are also many different variants of this drive, but they seem to sell for about 15 USD.

Is that an OEM GTX 1050, or did you mean 2GB?

These seem to sell for 60-90 USD, depending on what cooler variant.

Some listing of this PSU (the 600W and 700W variants) fetch around 30-40 USD on eBay.

Depends on which case exactly. The older Antec cases I would say are worth like 20 USD, because they are annoying to build in. A better one is probably more like 40 USD. DVD drive doesn't add much value.

 

So all in that leaves you with:

CPU: 15 USD

Mobo: 30 USD

HDD: 15 USD

GPU: 60 - 90 USD

RAM: 20 USD

PSU: 30 - 40 USD (depending on what model exactly too)

Case+Optical drive: 20 - 40 USD

 

So that is 190 USD worst case, 250 USD best case.

That is just straight up looking at prices these (sorts of) parts sell for on eBay.

 

How much people will pay for it fully built, presumably with an (unactivated) Windows install? I'm not sure, depends on your local market. What I mentioned was just individual part pricing (on eBay, which takes a cut too).

Nah, remember when Nvidia started tossing cut down 1050 ti chips onto 1050 models? Memory controller couldn't handle it so they said screw it and made em all 1050s. I added a link in a pcpp list above if you wanna see what model.
