Applying XMP profile makes my boots unstable

Rahmat Baghdadi

Hi there,

As the title suggests, applying XMP profile makes my boots unstable, meaning sometimes it boots, sometimes it doesn't (I don't hear a successful hardware check single beep and system just hangs).

Here is my setup:

Phantom Build:
CPU:	Intel Core i7 7700K 4200Mhz boosted to 4500Mhz
Cooler:	Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED
GPU:	MSI Geforce GTX 1080 Armor OC 8GB GDDR5
RAM:	1x Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200MHz 16GB
M.B:	Asus ROG Strix z270e Gaming
PSU:	Green GP 750 BOC EVO
Storage:2x Seagate Baracuda 1TB SATA3 HDD (RAID 0) + 1x Western Digital Green 120GB M.2 SSD

But if I hold reset button for 5 sec, everything restarts normally.

Should I be worried?

What causes this? My guess is PSU, hence the topic placement.

In BIOS under Ai Tweaker, I can see it is set to 1.3530 and have a value of 1.344.

Which I guess is normal, right?
