Will i need a BIOS update?

Yes, you need an update.

You need at least 5.40
If you decide to update your BIOS, follow the steps carefully on this page:
https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M/index.asp#BIOS

 

You shouldn't simply jump from 4.50 to 5.40!

Hey all,

im going from a ryzen 3 1200 to a ryzen 5 3600. My motherboard is an AB350M ASROCK motherboard. It is currently running 

BIOS version American Megatrends Inc P4.50 13/02/18.

Will i need an update? Thankyou.
