Whats your current PPD?

Just recently got another 980ti to replace the 780 that died (secondary card), so now I've got a system with dual 980tis and a 1700X. I know it's not nearly as fast as some of the machines here, but it feels like my little monster.

 

The secondary 980ti is folding full-time, the rest of the system is on and off depending on the temperature of the room and what I'm doing. With 1 GPU it's about 600,000-750,000.

I'm a bit unsure TBH.  I'm not getting a steady string of Work Units at the moment and the stats for estimating the PPD change a LOT.  Rx580 GPU and R9 3900X (at 4.3all Core, all the time) should produce a lot... the old 1st Gen i5 sitting in the corner... yeah, that's estimated at 27k/day..... Every little helps right?

GPU folding is the way ... about 1M on a RX5700XT.

Will propably putt another computer at contribution.

Currently I'm getting about 900K to 950K PPD folding on 2 970's and one 960, as others have said getting WU's is the biggest bottleneck.

~1 mil PPD across my entire deployment, not counting my i7 MBP that's not folding full-time.

I'm currently at 428535 with 7/12 threads on my i7-8700 + GTX 1060 3GB, both currently have WUs running, which is usual for me, but on my laptop (i7-7700HQ (5/8 threads) + GTX 1050 Mobile) I only have 158961, and that seems a lot lower for a similarly specced machine to my desktop.

 

I understand the cooling isn't as great as my desktop, but is there anything else I could do to improve my laptop's PPD?

My F@H client isn't getting much CPU work load.  So I installed BOINC and I'm running Rosetta@home at the same time.  They don't play very nice with each other so I have to do some baby-sitting.

 

My GPU (2070S) gets ~1.6 million PPD.

That's 3 GTX 1080 ti in each machine though, but TDP limits set DOWN a little for cooling reliability reasons.

At one point back in the day, I had more like 30 GPUs working on Folding - the 1080 tis, 7 or 8 x 1080, 6 1070ti, and the rest 1070s - but I can afford to run all of those on Folding any more.

I'm doing around 700K - 800K PPD per GPU. Using 4x Tesla P4 on preemptied instances that I am paying out of my pocket (Preemptied instances are pretty cheap). I get roughly 1.2M to 1.8M PPD per day. 

 

Instances are running on Debian Buster on a 30GB HDD.

4vCPU and 8GB of Memory which is sufficient.

Preemptied instance as in the instance will shut down after 24 hours.
