Looking for a phone

Entropy.

Hey- I'm looking to buy a new phone under 300 USD, but I may be able to stretch the 400. Is there a decent phone to buy? Should I wait? But used? Buy apple? Android?

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

i wouldnt buy used if youre planning to use a sim card, cuz if its imei reports as stolen any telecom company would refuse to provide service. im currently using the lg k9. it was 120 cad i believe when i got it 2 years ago. it isnt great but for the price its amazing. the samsung a series looks really promising, roughly 250-350 usd i believe. the pixel 3a non xl is about 400 usd roughly, and is a pretty good phone. ltt reviewed a while ago. hope this helps

Either @piratemonkey or quote me when responding to me. I won't see otherwise

If you're going apple you'd be looking at an iPhone X that's 3 gens old now. The XR used is a bit over 400 still I think.

I would suggest the Xiaomi Redmi K30 priced around 260-300, maybe up to $350 depending on region. It has a 120Hz IPS display, 6gb of ram, great cameras for the price, 27w fast charging and 4500mAh battery. Also the Mi 9 Lite should be around the same price range.

What are you looking to use the phone for? What kind of specs are most important? Does size matter (giggity)? What have you used in the past that you liked?

The 10e is like $180 though. Again, Xiaomi Redmi note 8, or note 8 pro, But the k30 is really great.

@YT_DomDaBomb20 The G6(great phone btw)  from newegg is sold by a nonreputable seller with only 4 reviews.

You can find a lot of phones at the price of yhe a50 with the same processor.

The v35 seems like a great phone for the price.

And lastly, that s8+ in used. OP wanted new.
