Z390 MATX Motherboard for a I9-9900K

Hi, I have an Intel I9-9900K that I would like to use with a matx motherboard.   I'm looking between the Gigabyte Z390M and the MSI MPG Z390M Gaming Edge AC.   The other difference I see between the two boards is that MSI has a few extra features that aren't really important to me.   Does one of the motherboards have a a VRM setup, heat shields or other features that would be better for the I9-9900K?   I would like to overclock the CPU a bit but nothing crazy.  Thanks for any advice!
