Well that's as good a justification as any to break up a 8+ thread CPU into halves-1 or 2 threads for jobs and personal use.

Oh it went up again, never noticed... really not following that stuff. Then yeah, maybe not such a bad decision... if he still has them, haven't discussed that since then.

Or maybe it still is because back then there was no regulation, while he'd have to pay tax on it now.

Feeling stupid where do I see how many cores it is using? Next to my CPU it says 40 on one and 23 on the other.

I already told you, 7MHz of CC is literally nothing, you are lucky if you had one clock step down. Lower it more, as one successful unit does not mean every single on will be, ESPECIALLY if you are running advanced.

The others taking a well deserved rest before this weekend big overall. 

Don't worry they will be back folding, after a couple of fan changes (had those noiseblocker in all my systems since 2011, seems those 2 weeks finally managed to get them), water change, repaste and cmos battery change.

My upload speeds are terrible, its possible I will have WU's finished but not uploaded.

 

Unless I switch to my 4g

My rig could probably use a repaste as well. Not because the paste is old, but because I didn't have very much TIM last time...

Ive got 2 more WU's I can finish before time is called, and of course I'll be missing out on a the 170k WU my 2070 is chewing on!

 

Will say, my CPU thermal paste picked a good time to start failing. Turns out AMD stock paste doesn't like being at ~82c for 14 days straight

 

Will be tearing my GPU's apart and re-pasting them as well as my CPU cooler once time is called. The GPU's were honestly just due for it.
