Weird, 14541 and 14543 seem to be the only WUs that my 2060 ever seems to get. Including right now.

It started more as an experiment into it and I got a bit crazy when the price started to go up in february/march 2017. I used already mined holding to buy new card one rig (7 cards) at a time. Once I got bored/tired of it and that it started to not be anymore viable to mine (expensive electricity here) I sold all the GPUs and Motherboard and was surprised to not lose money on that overall (some sold for cheap some for more than what I paid for).

Sounds like you made a decent amount if you bought a car with the profits, so good job!  I'm sure the video card manufacturers made a killing! 

I hadn't really paid any attention to mining when it started but a saw a link to reddit where someone used doge coin to buy some group pizzas (firemen maybe?) or something like that which was pretty cool and I thought I try something like that to make donations.  Tried it for a bit with whatever card I had at the time and it was certainly not worth the cost of the electricity but it did introduce me to reddit which is interesting.  I'm probably in for a doubling+ of the computer's power consumption when I plug in the video card!  It's sort of like this - play with technology while giving something to humanity and not just writing a check!!!

How the hell do you have so high fail rate with default OC?

Can you lock it to default clock and see if that improves your success rate? Or underclock the hell out of it and limit it with PL to smth like 80%.

looks like i am stable now that i turned the core clock down 7MHZ in msi afterburner. finished 3 gpu ones in a row and got credit :) kind of annoying that the gpu's boost clock is causing it to just completly fail

Friend of mine had enough of early bitcoin to make about a million when it soared up to 10K+... but kept them because he wanted to "believe in and support the technology". Now it's worth negligible amounts again. FFS.

Well that's hard to explain! The simple description would be illness. Unfortunately some of the medication I need has been in short supply thanks to people stockpiling and that has left me struggling for the last 5/6 days. I should get that medication in the next few days as I have been put on the priority list.

 

@justpoet luckily it didn't end in an ambulance ride but it was/is close.

yeah hence why im trying to get some nvidias my 5700xt is better than the rx580 working with f@h as it has 0 fails this is every 14541 that i have done since monitoring began.

The stats will be the usual day stats,

 

but as is typical for these events the full spreadsheet will be made available soon after the events end in a read-only mode.

I always have to be different, the only failed WU's I've had has been my on nvidia cards, my 5700xt, rx470, rx460, r9 280x, r9 270 and amd IGPU's have been rock solid fortunately.

Curious, I installed a new cooler and better exhaust fan on my server and increased the CPU cores from 2 to 6.  Strangely, it got a 4 core WU.

 

I have noticed that however many cores you have enabled when you get the WU, that's how many it uses for the entire run, but I've never seen it get less than you allocated before.

WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7
