You don't have to kill said cheetah to get some blood. However, elf blood would work much better

@Stormseeker9This  and you CTRL+F-ed chrome page, not the sheet.

P.S. You cannot go "options->find", you have to CTRL+F so you can find yourself in excel sheet. So, when you CTRL+F you should see white box dropping on right upper corner (of sheet). Check the pic (see black box 0 found and white box 1 found):

i had to toggle to beta as adv would and normal would not give it crap...but its back on adv again now...

Just a 9 year old HP 8200 elite with 32 GB of RAM and an Intel Core I5 2500. The funny thing is F@H on my GPU is actually consuming more of my CPU than my browser and I still have 4 to 5 GB of RAM before I start seeing major performance limitations.

Ever since adding:  client-type advanced, and next-unit-percentage 90, I've been happily folding nearly non-stop.

I am at 388 since the start of this whole thing. I am kinda sad I didn't get to register at all because I am deploying and I am in Mob (yes I am remotely controlling my rigs that folding). At this pace I should break 600 by next week.

What is the advantage / disadvantage of tweaking next-unit-percentage?

 

Lower % = percentage completion of the current WU when the client attempts to start downloading a new WU, but with an impact to points because of time.

 

Higher % = starts downloading a new WU closer to the current WU's completion, with the risk being you may not have a fresh WU to work on when the current one completes.

 

Are the above two statements a correct summation?

Well, I went from finishing a WU only to sit idle not doing anything while the client went thru its searching/timeout/searching again phases.  Went to 98% and still was sitting Idle a lot.  So went to 90% (and saw results)   Might move it back to 95% seeing as it seems a LOT of the bottleneck issues have been sorted out, and people are bringing more servers online.

 

Just kinda hesitant to tweak things once they are working.

 

And yeah, those summations seem correct.   I'm not as worried about points as I am about just having my system have stuff to work on lol
