Okay, weirder still. My GF's machine - Ryzen 1600/RX-480 GPU is up and running and immediately grabbed work units for both with no problem.

Ryzen 5 3600 OC to 3800 - 32 GB DDR4 3200 Memory OC to 3200 - I'm running just fine

Radeon XFX Vega 56 - factory bios - current drivers - consistently NOT getting work units 

 

Ryzen 5 1600 no OC - 16 GB DDR4 3000 Memory OC to 3000 - running just fine

Powercolor RX-480 - factory bios - current drivers - consistently getting work units

 

What could possibly be doing this?

I like the odds of getting a prize (seriously I'm not joking. This is pretty good).

 

.06% Chance currently, I'm predicting by the end of this we'll be looking at around .04% with all the people currently under the threshold but close and still producing having 4 days left.

IF you are in the prize sections that have chances for excl prizes, your chances go up by a few percentage, and I don't feel like doing the math to figure out exactly how that will change for each category - especially with the overlap of some of those!

Holy crap.  I knew GPU folding was faster, but I didn't realize just how much.  You can literally see when I added the living room PC into the mix.  Went from 1k-4k points every 3 hours folding on just 4 of the 6 cores in my old home server CPU, to 50k-60k in the same amount of time once I added an RX 480 and 6 of the 8 cores in an FX 8370.  There's a very obvious spike starting from where I turned it on last night that still hasn't quite peaked.

This seems harder then I expected and alot of luck. I been running clients on 3 computers on full and am now at 1.25M points, barely getting work, one day non of the systems got a single WU within the day from what I see on the search site

 

computers main hardware is 

R7 2700X / 2060 super / 32gb ram

I7 4790K / RX580 CE / 24gb ram

I7 4790K / R9 290X / 16gb ram

Ok, my brain isn't cooperating right now. I almost had everything done and it's like a tornado went through my brain and blew all the numbers away...

 

I'll try again in the morning after a cup of coffee or something *sigh*

 

 

If I'm not wrong though, .0025% chance extra at the lowest up to something like .025 ish.

I'm getting messed up on having this one distributed between categories 1-49; 50-99; 100-149; 150-199; 200-399. Should be simple and my brain just isn't doing it.

 

 

Other news though, I'm likely gonna be building that Ryzen based system I've been wanting to for a year or so now! (Given everything works out the way I'm hoping, that is.)
