I'm running F@H on a Ryzen 3600 with a Vega 56 GPU.

 

The CPU portion is running just fine.

 

The GPU portion has been in "downloading" for several hours with 12 retries and what looks like 45 minutes or so between retries.

 

Is there something I've likely done wrong?

this one is used from amazon. i dont want to buy it to wait for the event to end to get it when i could buy the 3080, 3090, 3090 ti when it comes out... tough decisions. my budget was already stretched a bit for the $1100 2080 ti

Hey, there were days I got like 1 WU. Even if the server didn't TECHNICALLY crash, it wasn't doing it's job of giving out work units.

Probably not. WUs can take a while to get given out sometimes.

Nothing you've done wrong. Just not enough server capacity. Try pausing the GPU slot then starting it again. It will reset that next attempt timer.

Okay. I just wanted to be sure it wasn't on my end. 

 

I haven't updated the BIOS in my GPU since I got it but nothing else has puked on that.

Pause it and start it again if you need.

There is no option to pause ONLY the GPU slot, but pausing them both doesn't hurt anything. I got a 1 minute 13 second recycle time this time around.

Yes there is.  Right-click on any slot and you can pause, start, or finish that slot specifically.  (In the advanced control, not web.)

You can right Click on any slot and pause them individually at any time.

The 8700B is the highest you can go in the 2018 (and I think the minor refresh 2020).
