Don't be discouraged, one of my machines is a Ryzen 5 2500U and while the GPU is too weak to be useful, the CPU has crunched through many WUs.

As long as it finishes before the timeout, its extremely valuable to the project, somewhat less so if it doesn't make it (as someone else will have been already re-issued the WU) but CPU WUs usually have a very generous timeout.

Even the iGPU is just "slightly" too slow to be useful, I'd think most dGPUs would be fine.

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

Just install ESXi free on everything and deploy the FAH OVA. Little bit of powercli and you can mass deploy thousands with zero touch :)

 

I have not yet checked PPD vs bare metal though.

@pred1tor83 to hit the participation requirements you only need to produce 35kish per day, you are aware of that right?

I've been tempted. I end up spending a lot of time anyway working through a lot of weird issues trying to get AMD cards going on Linux with the amdgpu-pro drivers.

Managed to get a hold of Project 14182. My 3600 is wheezing from the effort, good chunk of points though
