My gaming PC folding is proving to be a useful room heater, meaning the gas isnt being used to heat at all.

 

Im assuming my solar panels are generating enough to power my house despite some cloud cover so I’m saving the planet while I fold!
 

Pity I lost 100 places in the rankings despite my best folding score for a day ever! I literally gave it all I have and lost rank

I'm wondering what is the mistery behind this crazy points. Folding on a trusty laptop with 1060 inside. With a 4h WU I'm getting 84k points... or 15k. Both processed with the same time etc, but when I get error with the upload - I don't get the bonus.

Another thing - Didn't get any points from Friday till now i think. You guys have the same ?
But, I'm happy there are WU available and we can crunch them

You got bad work unit, it sometimes happens, but to avoid this, strip your GPU of all OC and go factory for now, if you experience it again, lower your CC and MC even below factory.

As it has been said quite a few times, QRB is not awarded correctly currently, and on top of that some WUs simply differ in PPD (nothing you can do about either of those things).

QRB should be awarded in near future so you shouldn't worry about it too much.

Not worried at all, it's only numbers - I'm happy that it's downloading and uploading WUs without any issues. I was just curious what is the logic behind that issue

Quick question:  I have a Ryzen 3700x with 12 threads I can spare.  Do you recommend leaving it at the 12 w/1 slot or 6 w/2 slots?

My system has been folding almost nonstop today. Glad to see they might have gotten the WU supply chain fixed at least for the moment. 

 

Assuming no crashes I may actually achieve something close to my Est PPD of over 1 million.

Same.  I am not liking being down (a lot each) 4 days straight so far.  This morning appears better but those servers can turn back around to a nosedive again pretty fast.

I am set for ~2 M already at 660k at the 9 am check in and all my GPUS will cycle during htis necth ceck in at least once of not 2 times

Region is also a factor for what kind of VM's you can create, it's a puzzle!

So I got everything working, but only on a Promo k80 instance.  But its better than nothing.  I had to convert the Free Trial to a pay as you go.  It means Ill be charged, but only once i use the free £150.  The free trial is limited to only 4 vCPUs, and all the GPU boxes are 6+. 

 

So now I have a 4 core (E5-2690 v3) slot and a K80 slot going too!  Its only about 30% of the performance of my 1080ti, but every little helps!

EOC only updates once every 3 hours. I believe it's every 3, 6, 9 and 12 hour on central standard Time.

Web control is also being weird. Probably too much demand on the servers, or they just need to force an update. The link I posted will show you your point total in 3 hour increments, and it updates more often than the main stats page.
