My lowly 2009 MacPro with dual X5675's is leaping up the charts running full bore 24/7, alas my old GTX 680 isn't in the fight, so it's all CPU baby. Seeing all 24 threads at 100% and still being able to surf the web is so sexy.

I ended up in the top 500 (227th). Not too bad i think considering I'm only using one system part time :)

Is anybody running a 5700 XT in their setup? If so what is your PPD looking like with it? Thinking about running out and picking one up to run alongside/replace my RX 470

Kind of wish my laptop didnt hit 100 degrees just turning on much less doing anything on it or id leave the desktop folding and go play games on that

i didnt buy for folding nvidia proprietary cuda technology handily beats amd in that regard.

 

5700 xt in games is great though, just wanted to give you that asterisk. for me its something i can donate to help out..

 

i wish could put the 8x tesla p100 at work to use. they would kill at folding.

We're set to close on our house this week. *Hopefully* So i figured around the 350 US mark would be good for now until something better comes along later this year. Gives me a better bang for the buck in gaming right now plus I can keep it handy for future folding as well.

i am seeing between 1.1mio and 1.3mio PPD

After more than an hour of crunching numbers, my 1080 Ti just was awarded a wooping: "Final credit estimate, 7685.00 points"

Is this maybe of concern? Is this something others have experienced?
