A Passkey? (see Blue Post at Top)

I added a Passkey at first.  I even looked into re-entering it.

A lot of factors play into the amount of points you receive after you submit your WU, such as:

  • Time it takes to complete WU (points decrease/increase over time)
  • Time it takes to send completed WU (points decrease/increase over time)
  • Bad work/collection servers (some servers are not awarding the correct number of points I believe)

You can see my stats here -- https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_summary.php?s=&u=944491

I am using an x570 mobo with a Ryzen 7-2700, 32 gigs of RAM, and an ASUS RX580 gpu, over a 1 gig cable hookup.  Where is the bottleneck?

I am using both the cpu and gpu to fold, and have it set to high.

Youll get 1.1-1.3M PPD from the 2060 btw. Outperforming the 1080ti.

My 1080ti gets about 1.5-1.4 mil points on average.

There is no bottleneck with you, it's their servers.

Maybe. Glass half full way to look at it is we started the event when we reached peak output.

It could also be related to server issues. I have had a lot of issues with work units today not being credited. I had 5 work units for the day fail to credit any points due to server issues. Missing around 500k+ points (around half of my production for the day).

I hope not.

Also for anyone that didn't see this... F@H is now EXAscale

I do have a quick question for anyone running multi-GPU - CrossFire/SLI or nah? I am only interested in CrossFire for EyeInfinity, and couldn't tell a difference between on/off in between swearing at the cards because they wouldn't use CrossFire at first.

From the looks of it your not getting any WUs for your GPU. Is it showing any “Compute” utilization in Task Manager?

You don't have to run it with CrossFire or SLI. You just install the proper drivers and then run folding at home and it will automatically assign the WUs to the GPUs. In fact you can even run Nvidia and AMD at the same time with no isses what so ever. It just needs to detect a GPU that is compatible with OpenCL.

Minimum Participation Requirements For Prizes

10 Days Active, 500,000 Points

I had overlooked that minimum points requirement and may as well stop right away, as my points are awarded in the 100s, not 1,000s, let alone in any sufficient numbers to actually reach that 500k. That's because 1) my system doesn't have a super-high core-count AMD proc and 2) doesn't have any video card at all (only onboard). Simply as I can't afford it being stuck on welfare levels for the past 6 years. And the lack of work units does not entice me to line up more systems ATM 😧 (not that they are anything more powerful, or have a decent GPU, mind!)

Shit, I started folding on my PC, Laptop and NAS before going to work the Nightshift, came home in the morning to find my NAS dead... Well it just has a dual core Celeron so it doesn't do a lot anyways, but every little bit counts. I'm gonna go to bed now an d deal with this later.

Also: seems like we're gonna overtake overclockers.com!

Should overtake them in total points around 24hrs from now, and then Hardware.no about 48 from now. That will bump us to 4th place.

Then it's on to Default! Now then, we just need to message all of the top producers and tell them to join our team....

Please people, don't actually do this.

between the lack of WU and missing points I'm sitting at about 100K PPD instead of the 800K - 1M PPD I normally get. team ponts should keep going up as the F@H back end improves.

Yep every little helps.

I got my file server folding, It has a 15watt amd Opteron x3216 1.6ghz, takes just under a day to do each job and get around 1500 ppd.

50k points so far, a 3 hour GPU job only netted me 10k points???

Thankfully the current one looks to be back on the normal 60k for a GPU WU and the CPU one says 30k! On for 414k PPD for Day #1 if i get the WUs.

Newbie folder here - but have my both my rig and my son's rig (my old rig) folding when WU's are available. Tried running on my dual 6 core Xeon workstation/server and that was painful to watch, But may let it sit there and try too.

Time to turn up the heat for a good cause :)
